Garuda backs Lebaran 2026 homecoming with 20% ticket discount

Jakarta (ANTARA) – Garuda Indonesia, Indonesia’s flag carrier, is offering ticket discounts of up to 20 percent through the Ramadan Takjil programme to support smooth Lebaran mudik in 2026 on all routes, domestic and international.

“Garuda Indonesia is starting a price-war ahead of the Lebaran mudik in 2026; we are launching the Ramadan Takjil promo with discounts of up to 20 percent on all domestic and international routes,” said Garuda Indonesia President Director Glenny H. Kairupan in a statement in Jakarta on Thursday.

He said the promo applies to booking periods from 2–8 March 2026, with travel periods valid until 7 September 2026. The discount can be accessed via Garuda’s official channels, including the FlyGaruda website and app, as well as partner online travel agents.

Moreover he said prospective passengers simply need to enter the code “MUDIK26” at checkout. Ahead of the homecoming period, demand for tickets typically surges, so they chose to pre-emptively lower prices through the discount programme.

Domestic routes included in the programme are, Jakarta–Makassar (round trip) starting from Rp4 million, Jakarta–Palembang from Rp2 million, Jakarta–Palu and Jakarta–Pekanbaru from Rp3.4 million, and Makassar–Kendari from Rp1.4 million.

On international routes, Jakarta–Amsterdam starting from Rp11.7 million, Jakarta–Hong Kong from Rp5.4 million, Jakarta–Melbourne from Rp8.2 million, Jakarta–Singapore from Rp3.5 million, and Bali–Sydney from Rp8.8 million.

There is also a Top Spender programme awarding a Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 to the highest-transacting customer during the promo period.
