Garuda and Pos ink deal

JAKARTA (JP): State-owned postal service company PT Pos Indonesia has agreed to use state-owned airline Garuda Indonesia to transport its postal products at home and overseas.

Under the agreement signed in Bandung Monday, the postal company also encouraged its employees and their families to use the airline both for domestic and international trips.

Garuda Indonesia said it is also seeking similar deals with other state-owned companies in an effort to revitalize falling businesses. (aly)
