Garuda adds extra flights

JAKARTA (JP): National air carrier Garuda Indonesia is
operating 86 extra flights from Jakarta with 18,391 seats between
Dec. 14 1996 and Jan. 5 to three overseas and four domestic
destinations.

The company said Tuesday that the additional flights include
services from Jakarta to Singapore, Hong Kong and Perth, and from
Jakarta to Yogyakarta, Surakarta, Denpasar and Surabaya.

Garuda operates a number of fleets including Airbus A-300-B4,
A-300-600, MD-11, DC 10, Boeing B-737-300, B-737-400 and Fokker
F-28 aircraft. (icn)
