Gartner Report: AI Governance Becomes Key Differentiator for Corporate Competitiveness
The Gartner Magic Quadrant for AI Platforms for Data Science and Machine Learning report indicates that artificial intelligence (AI) governance is becoming a differentiating factor in corporate competitiveness amidst the increasingly widespread use of the technology.
Gartner is a global technology research and consulting firm that annually evaluates various technology providers through its Magic Quadrant reports. This evaluation measures a company’s ability to execute its products and services, as well as the completeness of its business and technological vision, making it a vital reference for industry players when selecting technological solutions.
In its latest report, Gartner has once again positioned Dataiku as a leader in the AI platform category for data science and machine learning. This marks the fifth consecutive time the company has achieved this position.
Dataiku Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Florian Douette Douetteau stated that AI implementation in companies is now entering a new phase. According to him, organisational challenges are no longer limited to adopting AI models, but rather ensuring that the technology can provide added value to the business through good governance.
Florian explained that companies capable of managing AI in an integrated manner will possess an advantage over organisations that implement AI in isolation across individual business units.
“The difference in AI implementation at the corporate level will become increasingly apparent. Some companies will be able to transform AI into measurable operational advantages, while others will struggle with fragmented AI agents, increased risks, and a lack of clear methods to measure implementation effectiveness,” Florian said in a written statement received on Monday (6/7/2026).
According to Florian, this advantage is not determined by the number of AI models a company possesses, but rather by the ability to manage access, perform orchestration, and implement comprehensive AI governance so that all systems operate in alignment with business needs.
To support this, Dataiku has developed a platform that allows organisations to build, operate, and manage various AI applications within a single integrated workspace. The platform is designed to be compatible with various data infrastructures, cloud computing services, and existing corporate AI ecosystems.
