Garment vendors on sidewalk in Slipi
Garment vendors on sidewalk in Slipi
From Warta Kota
Sidewalk vendors selling used books, VCDs, magazines,
newspapers, etc., close to the Slipi traffic lights were removed
from the area as they were a nuisance for pedestrians.
Unfortunately, many vendors of new or used garments have
returned in great numbers to sell their wares near the traffic
lights. Their presence has obviously disturbed pedestrians. A
sidewalk constitutes the right for pedestrians to use it and must
be kept free of any obstructions.
Unless the authorities take immediate action and bring order,
these sidewalk vendors will eventually disrupt traffic,
especially during the rush hour.
