Garlic and Beef Prices Rise as Egg Prices Fall: Full List
Bank Indonesia, through its National Strategic Food Price Information Centre (PIHPS), reported that the price of garlic rose by Rp 300 to Rp 43,450 per kilogramme, whilst quality I beef increased by Rp 200 to Rp 149,450 per kg. The data, released on Thursday, 25 June 2026 at 09:20 WIB, also showed that the price of red cayenne pepper fell by Rp 6,800 to Rp 70,400 per kg, and chicken eggs dropped by Rp 200 to Rp 29,750 per kg. Meanwhile, shallots were observed at Rp 51,350 per kg. For rice, lower quality I was priced at Rp 14,650 per kg, lower quality II at Rp 14,600 per kg, medium quality I at Rp 16,300 per kg, and medium quality II at Rp 16,100 per kg. Super quality I rice was recorded at Rp 17,600 per kg, and super quality II at Rp 17,100 per kg. PIHPS also noted that large red chillies were priced at Rp 54,300 per kg, curly red chillies at Rp 53,600 per kg, and green cayenne pepper at Rp 52,550 per kg. Fresh chicken meat was priced at Rp 37,150 per kg, and quality II beef at Rp 140,900 per kg. Premium granulated sugar was recorded at Rp 20,300 per kg, and local granulated sugar at Rp 19,100 per kg. Lastly, bulk cooking oil was priced at Rp 20,700 per litre, branded cooking oil I at Rp 24,200 per litre, and branded cooking oil II at Rp 23,350 per litre.
