Gang Brawl in Bogor Kills MBG Employee, Three Suspects Arrested

A brawl involving three youth gangs erupted on Jalan Sholeh Iskandar in Tanahsareal, Bogor, claiming the life of a young man who was an employee of MBG. The victim, identified by the initials MHF, was 21 years old and worked in Cikarang.

Kanit Reskrim Polsek Tanahsareal, Iptu Roy Siagian, confirmed the incident on Monday (15/6/2026), stating that the victim was hacked to death. The brawl occurred between gangs from the Yasmin, Cimanggu, and Tanahsareal areas in the early hours of Sunday (14/6).

According to police, the victim was not involved in the brawl and had no connection to the prior dispute. He was simply passing through the location with his younger sibling after returning from work. Family statements confirmed he was on his way home, and the attackers, who did not know him, acted indiscriminately.

Police have detained seven individuals in connection with the incident. Three have been named as suspects in the fatal stabbing, while four others were questioned as witnesses. Two of the witnesses were present during the brawl, and two others met the group after the event and have since been released. One additional suspect involved in the attack remains at large and has been placed on the wanted list.
