PT Pegadaian Galeri Dua Empat (Galeri 24) is targeting a profit of more than Rp1.3 trillion in 2026, driven by continued growth in its gold trading business. As of the end of June 2026, the Pegadaian subsidiary’s profit had already reached approximately Rp1.1 trillion.

Galeri 24 President Director Endah Susiani stated that this achievement continues the company’s growth trend in recent years. In the 2025 financial year, Galeri 24 posted a profit of Rp1.3 trillion, a sharp increase from Rp377 billion the previous year.

"Our target this year is to reach at least Rp1.3 trillion, and we even hope to exceed that target," Endah said in a written statement in Jakarta on Thursday (6/8/2026).

According to Endah, business growth is also supported by the expansion of the company’s network. Galeri 24 currently operates 116 outlets across various regions, comprising Jewellery Stores (J-Store), distribution points within Pegadaian offices, and permanent open booths.

Beyond expanding its network, Galeri 24 continues to develop its gold trading business through the sale of gold bars, jewellery, diamonds, and custom gold manufacturing services. The company also owns its own factory that produces gold bars and jewellery under the Galeri 24 brand.

In addition to serving retail customers, Galeri 24 is the main supplier of physical gold for various Pegadaian products, such as Gold Savings, Gold Instalments, and Gold Arisan. The company also caters to the gold needs of corporations, cooperatives, and Islamic banks.

Alongside pursuing profit growth, Galeri 24 is working to increase brand recognition. Endah said the company maintains product quality through gold purity standards and competitive pricing, as well as offering competitive buyback prices.

"Galeri 24 also provides consignment services for gold sales and continues to develop partnerships with various institutions to expand public access to gold investment," she said.

Responding to the rise in cases of counterfeit and gold-plated items, Endah confirmed that every Galeri 24 gold bar is equipped with a scannable barcode to verify product authenticity. The company also possesses specialised equipment to test gold purity, particularly during the buyback process.

"We have security standards in place to ensure the gold bars we sell are genuinely authentic," she stated.

To mark its eighth anniversary, Galeri 24 is offering a range of promotions from 3 to 9 August 2026. These include a discount of Rp20,000 per gram on gold bar purchases across all brands, diamond discounts starting from 3.5 percent, and gold jewellery discounts of up to 5 percent.

Endah believes now is still a good time to buy gold, as prices have not yet reached their peak and product stock is fully available, ranging from one gram to a kilogram.

She also reminded the public to view gold as a hedging instrument and a long-term investment, rather than a means to gain short-term profits.

"When buying gold, don’t do it because of FOMO. Understand that gold is for the long term. If you buy today and sell today, there is certainly a potential for loss," Endah said.

Looking ahead, Galeri 24 plans to expand its factory capacity, strengthen the national bullion ecosystem, and obtain London Bullion Market Association (LBMA) certification so that its gold products can be traded on the international market.

"Our hope is that Galeri 24 becomes top of mind for Indonesians for gold bars and jewellery, while also being able to compete in the global market," Endah concluded.
