Gains a Very Good Rating, Pekanbaru Mayor Agung Nugroho Continues to Improve Pekanbaru's Disdukcapil Services
Pekanbaru City Mayor Agung Nugroho has praised the Ministry of Home Affairs (Kemendagri) for evaluating the performance of the Population and Civil Registry Office (Disdukcapil) in the region, including Pekanbaru. Pekanbaru City Disdukcapil recently earned the rating of ‘Very Good’ in the results of the performance assessment of Pratama high-ranking officials at the provincial and district/city Disdukcapil for Semester II of 2025, conducted by Kemendagri.
“We would like to thank the Ministry of Home Affairs for the evaluation and assessment that has been carried out,” said Mayor Agung.
The assessment is recorded in the Minister of Home Affairs Decree No. 800.1.5.1-1910 Dukcapil Year 2026 concerning the Results of the Performance Assessment of Pratama high-ranking officials at the Population and Civil Registry Office in the provinces and regencies/cities for Semester II of 2025, issued in Jakarta on 6 May 2026.
The assessment, according to Agung, is a form of recognition as well as motivation for Pekanbaru City Government to continue improving the quality of population administration services to the public. “This achievement is certainly a motivation for us to continue improving the quality of public services, especially in the field of population administration,” said Agung.
According to him, the result of the assessment with the Very Good category does not make the Pekanbaru City Government staff complacent. Rather, the achievement will be used as a momentum for evaluation so that the Disdukcapil services become faster, easier, and more responsive to the needs of the public.
“This assessment we will use as both a spur and a momentum for evaluation to continue improving services to the public. We want Pekanbaru’s population administration services to be increasingly optimal and provide ease for residents,” he said.
As stated in the decree, the performance assessment results are used as considerations in the appointment and dismissal of Pratama high-ranking officials, administrators, and supervisory officials at the provincial or district/city Disdukcapil.
