Gaining Momentum, UBSI Strengthens Position as a Globally Competitive Creative Digital Campus
Universitas Bina Sarability Informatika (UBSI), a creative digital campus with ‘Unggul’ accreditation, continues to demonstrate significant transformation as a digital higher education institution adaptive to modern developments. Amid the increasingly competitive dynamics of higher education, UBSI has successfully strengthened its reputation through academic achievements, institutional reinforcement, and international cooperation networks.
The Rector of UBSI, Prof. Dr. Ir. Mochamad Wahyudi, emphasised that these achievements serve as tangible proof of the university’s commitment to providing high-quality education relevant to global industry needs. He stated that UBSI is transforming into a superior institution focusing not only on academics but also on innovation, technology, research, and international collaboration to ensure graduates can compete both nationally and globally.
Currently, UBSI comprises five faculties with 46 study programmes ranging from diploma to master’s degrees. The university’s network continues to expand, with a total of 30 campus locations spread across 13 cities and regencies in Indonesia. A significant milestone was reached when UBSI obtained the ‘Unggul’ accreditation rank from the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education (BAN-PT), reinforcing its position as a prominent private university in Indonesia.
In terms of national academic reputation, UBSI has ranked within the top 50 best universities according to the Science and Technology Index (SINTA) of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology. Furthermore, according to the UniRank 2026 rankings, UBSI holds the position of the 18th best private university in Indonesia and the 3rd best in the Province of DKI Jakarta. This success is supported by numerous national awards in fields such as public relations, research, and higher education data management.
In the industrial cooperation sector, UBSI continues to expand collaborations with both national and international companies. Strategic partnerships have been established with the CISCO Networking Academy, Oracle Academy, Microsoft, Mikrotik Academy, and the Indonesia Stock Exchange (Bursa Efek Indonesia). International cooperation has also widened through collaborations with various universities in the United States, South Korea, India, Turkey, China, the Philippines, Malaysia, and Hungary.
Beyond strengthening academic quality, UBSI is also driving student career development through the BSI Career Center (BCC) and strengthening the entrepreneurship ecosystem via the BSI Entrepreneur Center (BEC). Prof. Wahyudi noted that the university aims to produce graduates who are not only ready for employment but are also capable of creating jobs, fostering an innovative and entrepreneurial mindset. Looking ahead, UBSI targets the strengthening of international collaborative research, improving the quality of scientific publications, developing digital learning technologies, and expanding its global network.
