GAC Reaches 30 Million Global Vehicle Production Milestone

GAC Group has produced a total of 30 million vehicles globally since its establishment in 1997, positioning the company as a major player in the global automotive industry. The company stated that this achievement reflects not only the number of vehicles produced, but also represents the journey, experience, and trust of millions of customers over nearly three decades. “For us in Indonesia, this achievement is proof that every GAC vehicle we offer is built to proven global manufacturing standards,” said GAC Indonesia CEO Andry Ciu in a company press release on Saturday. “As GAC strengthens its presence in Indonesia, including through local assembly and the development of service networks, we are committed to delivering the best product quality, technological innovation, and ownership experience for Indonesian consumers,” he explained. The expansion is supported by more than 680 sales and service networks, five overseas production bases, and nine regional spare parts distribution centres. GAC is working to strengthen its production capacity, global operational network, and the development of new energy vehicles as part of its sustainable mobility strategy. GAC vehicles marketed in Indonesia are produced according to the company’s manufacturing standards. The company is striving to strengthen its position in the Indonesian market by carrying out local vehicle assembly, developing its dealer network, and improving after-sales service. GAC stated it will introduce a product line that suits the mobility needs of the Indonesian public. The Chinese manufacturer is investing in research and development, electrification technology, artificial intelligence, and smart manufacturing systems to deliver safer, more efficient, and environmentally friendly vehicles.
