Beijing (ANTARA/PRNewswire) - With the spirit of “All New GAC, Going Global!”, on 24 April at Auto China 2026, GAC International held its first global event introducing its latest global strategy. The event attracted great enthusiasm from around 330 participants—including dealer representatives, key partners, and domestic and international media—who gathered at the GAC booth to witness a new chapter in GAC’s global expansion.

In the event, GAC promoted four keywords—Craftsmanship, Trust, Technology, and Ecosystem. The strategy emphasises full integration into the global value chain, while targeting a position as one of China’s largest automotive product exporters by 2030. On the product side, three flagship models for the global market—the GAC YUE7, AION i60, and AION N60—took centre stage, attracting attention from international visitors, media, and partners who crowded the exhibition area, creating an atmosphere thick with global vibes.

In the last two years, GAC’s business in overseas markets has shown rapid growth. GAC’s sales figures in international markets surged from 45,000 units in 2023 to more than 130,000 units last year—nearly tripling—making it one of the fastest-growing Chinese automotive exporters. Entering 2026, this momentum has strengthened further. In Q1 2026, GAC’s overseas sales increased 86% year-on-year, while the number of global GAC users has exceeded 400,000. Currently, GAC International’s business has reached 102 countries and regions across five continents, supported by more than 680 sales and service networks, five overseas production bases, and nine regional spare parts distribution centres in various parts of the world. GAC has also completed a strategic transformation, shifting from a product trade-based export model to deeper operational activities in various local markets, while building global capabilities encompassing the entire value chain—from research and development, production, to distribution and sales.

Starting from the concept of “Intelligent Manufacturing in China” towards “Globally Trusted”, GAC is accelerating its integration with the new landscape of the global automotive industry through targeted strategies, strong technological foundations, and local market business development. Ahead of the event, GAC International also held the 2026 Global Partners Conference in Guangzhou. More than 700 distributors and partners from 87 countries and regions participated in the forum themed “Driving Forward, Winning Together” to discuss future global collaboration.
