GAC launches application to monitor vehicle condition
Jakarta — GAC Indonesia has officially launched the GAC Apps application, designed for users of Hyptec and Aion vehicles. The application enables vehicle owners to monitor their car’s status, access emergency services, and connect with the official dealer network during travel.
GAC Indonesia Chief Executive Officer Andry Ciu stated that the application features a modern user interface that adheres to GAC’s global design standards, combining black, white, and grey with tech blue accents as the visual identity.
“For us, simply providing vehicles is not enough. We want to ensure our customers receive a ownership experience that provides peace of mind throughout every journey,” Andry Ciu said in an official statement on Thursday.
To support the 2026 Lebaran homecoming travel season, GAC Indonesia is also preparing various services for users through the provision of standby workshops and command posts operating 24 hours daily.
“The homecoming journey carries deep meaning for many families in Indonesia. Therefore, customer safety and comfort are our top priorities. Through the 2026 Lebaran Standby Programme, we want to ensure customers can undertake their homecoming journeys with confidence and peace of mind,” Andry Ciu said.
The presence of these workshops aims to ensure customers can continue to access aftersales services during their travels.
According to Andry Ciu, customers can utilise these facilities for various needs, including routine servicing, battery and tyre replacement, vehicle software updates, brake system and electrical system inspections, and general checks to ensure the vehicle remains in optimal condition.
To provide additional comfort during long-distance travel, GAC Indonesia is also establishing 24-Hour Command Posts at two rest areas along major homecoming routes, which will operate from 18–29 March 2026.
“Through the support of our service network, 24-hour command posts, and digital services, we want customers to enjoy their homecoming journeys safely, comfortably, and without worry,” Andry Ciu said.
