GAC Group Targets Global Sales of 300,000 Units by 2026
Beijing (ANTARA) - Chinese automaker GAC Group targets sales of its vehicles to reach 250,000 to 300,000 units in the global market by 2026. “For 2026, we target 250,000 to 300,000 for markets outside China,” said GAC Group’s Deputy Director and Chairman of GAC International, Chen Jiacai, in Beijing on Friday. This target is based on China’s vehicle exports ranking among the top 10 global exporters for three consecutive years. In the first quarter of 2026, vehicles produced in the Middle Kingdom were exported at 2.2 million units, or 56 percent more than the same period in the previous year. “We will build a solid foundation through deep localisation, develop through technology, embrace the future through ecosystems, and create,” said Feng. GAC Group is participating in the prestigious Beijing Auto Show 2026, held for 10 days from 24 April to 3 May 2026. A total of 1,451 vehicles will be exhibited, including 181 world premieres and 71 concept cars.
