GAC Establishes Lebaran Travel Assistance Post for 2026

JAKARTA — In anticipation of the 2026 Lebaran travel season, GAC Indonesia has prepared a special service programme for its customers.

The GAC Siaga Lebaran programme has been introduced to provide safety and comfort for GAC vehicle users during their Lebaran holiday journeys.

“Mudik is a journey full of meaning for many families in Indonesia. That is why the safety and comfort of our customers are our top priority. Through the GAC Siaga Lebaran 2026 programme, we want to ensure customers can undertake their mudik journeys with confidence and peace of mind,” said Andry Ciu, CEO of GAC Indonesia, in Central Jakarta on Wednesday, 11 March 2026.

As part of the programme, GAC Indonesia has established nine emergency service workshops that remain operational with regular operating hours. Additionally, a 24-hour Emergency Roadside Assistance (ERA) service is available.

The nine emergency service workshops are located across several cities.

Beyond the emergency workshops, GAC has also prepared charging points at highway rest areas frequently used by travellers, particularly along the Trans-Java route.

Through these facilities, customers can utilise various vehicle maintenance and inspection services, ranging from regular servicing, battery and tyre replacement, vehicle software updates, to brake system and electrical system inspections, including general checks to ensure vehicles remain in optimal condition before continuing their journey.

Through this application, GAC vehicle users such as Aion and Hyptec owners can monitor their vehicle status, obtain access to emergency services, and connect with the official dealer network during their travels.

GAC Indonesia also introduced a special programme offering a 20 percent discount on portable charger purchases and Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) devices at official dealers.

With this programme, GAC hopes that users of their vehicles can undertake their Lebaran journeys with greater peace of mind whilst receiving service support if needed during travel.
