GAC Aion Has 58 Dealers Across Indonesia
GUANGZHOU, KOMPAS.com - GAC Indonesia, under the auspices of the Indomobil Group, confirms that GAC Aion’s after-sales service and distribution reach consumers across the country.
Santiko Wardoyo, CEO of PT Indomobil Wahana Trada, as the dealer network, revealed that the GAC Aion dealer network is now widespread, almost reaching every corner of the archipelago.
“Indeed, we have a network in Indonesia across the entire country except (currently) in Papua and North Kalimantan,” Santiko told the media in Jakarta.
Santiko acknowledged that there are still some regions that have not yet been reached by the GAC Aion dealer network.
Although he did not elaborate, this is related to the readiness of infrastructure and the characteristics of those areas regarding the adoption of electric vehicle technology, which is still very new.
Santiko explained that the company’s main focus at present is to strengthen synergies between the dealers that are already established.
The aim is to provide a sense of security and comfort for Aion users in undertaking long-distance journeys without worrying about the availability of servicing or charging facilities.
“Now, we will continue to optimise it, of course, with coordination between our branches,” he said.
Expansion
Regarding the target for adding new dealers in the remainder of this year, Santiko emphasised that the company will adopt a flexible approach.
“We will first see the development of Aion for its products. If the development is quite massive and we also see that the region needs it, we will always develop it,” he said.
With a total of 58 dealers already operating, GAC Aion appears serious about securing its position in the Indonesian EV market through a broad guarantee of integrated services for its users.
