G7 to discuss terrorism, oil price
MILAN: Finance Ministers from the Group of Seven (G7) nations will discuss additional measures to stop financing for terrorism, as well as the impact of recent crude oil price hikes on the world economy, a G7 source said on Wednesday.
At a Washington meeting scheduled for April 19 and 20, the ministers will also consider the solidity of the U.S. and European economic recoveries. The International Monetary Fund and World Bank also hold their spring meets beginning April 20.
"At the dinner on April 19, the ministers will discuss the situation regarding the financing of terrorism," the source said.
"The United States is interested in as wide an agreement as possible, which includes the majority of countries, even those outside the G7," said the source. -- Reuters
