JAKARTA - PT FWD Insurance Indonesia has launched the FWD Income Prosperity Life Insurance product, offering life protection with planned annual cash benefits and a guaranteed issue offer without health checks for coverage up to Rp2 billion.

CEO Jeffrey Woo said the product addresses the public’s need for more certain financial protection amid economic uncertainty and life dynamics. He cited a FWD Group-Ipsos survey showing many people still feel financially insecure, with 66% reporting stress, worry, or merely surviving financially, while only 34% feel secure and confident about their finances.

He added that current protection needs go beyond risk mitigation to include certainty in long-term financial planning. “Therefore, protection needs now are not just about guarding against possible risks, but also providing structured cash benefits and certainty in financial planning,” Woo said.

He added that FWD Income Prosperity aims to provide easily understandable and relevant protection solutions, enabling customers to feel more confident in daily life. The product offers annual cash benefits of 14% or 17% of the annual premium based on the customer’s chosen package. Additionally, customers can receive an end-of-policy benefit of 108% of total premiums paid up to 31 December 2026.

FWD Income Prosperity also provides death coverage up to 130% of total premiums paid, plus additional benefits for accidental death. Total permanent disability resulting from accident or illness also qualifies for premium waiver benefits.

Woo stressed that FWD Insurance will continue to provide protection solutions tailored to evolving public needs. “We aim to encourage the public to view insurance as part of daily financial planning to live more peacefully and confidently,” he said.
