I fully agree with Media Indonesia's editorial of May 16
concerning the suggestion made by the Supreme Advisory Council
(DPA). The council has suggested that a "first minister" be
included in the present Cabinet, which is considered a strange
proposal. Is that the only thing the DPA can do? How funny!

The present structure of the Cabinet is OK, although the
ministers have not done enough in their respective areas of
responsibility. Actually there are a lot of brilliant
intellectuals in this country but they need to have a party to
catapult them into the bureaucracy.

So, the DPA should not necessarily do unimportant things and
should think carefully before making any suggestion to the
President, and not do so just for the sake of putting forth a
suggestion.
