JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - PT Bank Syariah Indonesia (Persero) Tbk or BSI has disbursed financing to support various government priority programmes, ranging from the Free Nutritious Meals (MBG) programme, People’s Business Credit (KUR), to subsidised housing financing.

BSI’s Risk Management Director Grandhis Helmi Harumansyah stated that by the first quarter of 2026, BSI has disbursed around Rp 198 billion for MBG programme financing.

In addition to financing, BSI also provides virtual account services for the operations of MBG kitchens.

Currently, there are around 1,600 MBG kitchen sites using BSI services, particularly in Aceh, West Sumatra, and West Nusa Tenggara.

Besides MBG, BSI is also actively disbursing People’s Business Credit (KUR). By the first quarter of 2026, BSI’s total outstanding KUR reached around Rp 25.7 trillion.

Meanwhile, specifically for the first quarter of 2026, KUR disbursements amounted to Rp 2.61 trillion, received by more than 17,732 MSME actors.

In the housing sector, BSI also disburses housing liquidity financing facilities (FLPP) for subsidised houses.

In the first quarter of 2026, FLPP disbursements reached around Rp 145.7 billion for nearly 900 housing units.

Anton added that the number of FLPP recipients in the first quarter of this year reached 894 customers.

Meanwhile, the total subsidised housing financing disbursed by the company has reached Rp 5.7 trillion.

Besides FLPP, BSI also participates in the Housing Programme Credit (KPP) for MSMEs.

Grandhis mentioned that the company’s current outstanding KPP is around Rp 360 billion, received by 1,131 customers.

“BSI actively contributes to the Government’s Astacita and also supports the government’s economic programmes,” he said.

On the other hand, BSI is also involved in other government programmes through the placement of excess budget balance (SAL) funds. The company received an SAL fund allocation of around Rp 10 trillion.

BSI also operates a bullion business following its inauguration by President Prabowo Subianto as Indonesia’s first bullion bank on 26 February 2025.

To date, through its gold savings, gold instalment, and gold pawn business lines, BSI manages around 23.05 tonnes of gold.

“Up to today, from the bullion business lines, namely gold savings, gold instalments, and gold pawn. Initiated and run by BSI, it is running well,” he stated.
