Doa Khataman Al-Qur’an: Arab-Latin and Meaning
The book Kumpulan Doa & Dzikir Ramadhan by Ammi Nur Baits, cited by detikJogja, states that there is one commonly recited dua after khatam of the Qur’an. The Arabic wording, Latin transliteration, and meaning are as follows:
اللَّهُمَّ ارْحَمْنِي بِالْقُرْآنِ وَاجْعَلْهُ لِي إِمَامًا وَهُدًى وَرَحْمَةً اللَّهُمَّ ذَكِّرْنِي مِنْهُ مَا نَسِيتُ وَعَلِّمْنِي تِلَاوَتَهُ آنَاءَ اللَّيْلِ وَأَطْرَافَ النَّهَارِ وَاجْعَلْهُ لِي حُجَّةً يَا رَبَّ الْعَالَمِينَ
Latinnya: Allahummar hamnii bilqur-aani waj’alhulii imaaman wa hudaan wa rakhmah. Allahumma dzakkarnii minhu maa nasiitu wa ’allamnii tilaawatahu aanaa-a allaili wa athraafan nahaaar. Waj’alhulii khujjatan yaa rabbal ’aalamiina.
Artinya: “Ya Allah, belas kasihanilah aku karena Al-Qur’an. Jadikanlah Al-qur’an sebagai imamku, petunjuk dan rahmat. Ya Allah, ingankan aku dengannya bila aku lupa dan ajarilah aku apa yang tidak mengerti dari padanya. Berilah aku bisa membaca waktu malam dan siang. Jadikanlah dia hujjah bagiku wahai Tuhan seru sekalian alam.”
Doa Khataman Al-Qur’an Versi Panjang
Tidak hanya doa di atas saja, ada juga versi lain yang lebih panjang. Doa khataman Al-Qur’an versi panjang ini umumnya dibaca ketika acara khataman bersama, dengan lebih khidmat.
