This communication is crucial for the Embassy to provide accurate assessments and deliver necessary assistance and protection to Indonesian citizens.
As of 14:30 local time Saturday, all contact points of Indonesian citizens reached by the Embassy in various cities across Iran reported no direct threats to their safety. However, the Embassy has advised all Indonesian citizens to take necessary precautionary measures to ensure their own safety and that of their families.
The Indonesian Embassy in Tehran will continue conducting security assessments and coordinating with the Indonesian Foreign Ministry in Jakarta. Further updates will be provided regularly through the Foreign Ministry, particularly via the Foreign Ministry’s spokesperson.
A total of 383 Indonesian nationals are registered as residing in Iran.
