Full Specifications of the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra, and its Price in Indonesia
Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia - The Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra was recently launched at the Galaxy Unpacked event, in San Francisco, California, USA, on February 25, 2026, or in the early hours of February 26, 2026, Indonesian time.
The top model in this year’s Galaxy S line comes with a combination of a large screen, an extremely high-resolution camera, and the latest chipset, which is claimed to deliver top-class performance.
The Galaxy S26 Ultra features a 6.9-inch QHD+ screen using a Dynamic AMOLED 2X panel. Its refresh rate is adaptive, ranging from 1Hz to 120Hz. The Vision Booster feature is also included to maintain optimal screen visibility in bright light.
In terms of design, the device has dimensions of 78.1 x 163.6 x 7.9 mm and weighs 214 grams. It has also obtained IP68 certification, which means it is dustproof and waterproof up to a depth of 1.5 meters for 30 minutes in laboratory testing.
In the camera sector, the main lens uses a 200MP sensor with an f/1.4 aperture and OIS support, as well as 2x optical quality zoom capabilities.
For ultra-wide-angle needs, there is a 50MP ultra-wide camera with an f/1.9 aperture. Meanwhile, long-distance zoom capabilities are supported by a 50MP telephoto camera with 10x optical quality zoom and 5x optical zoom, complete with OIS and an f/2.9 aperture.
Samsung has also added a 10MP telephoto with 3x optical zoom and OIS. On the front, there is a 12MP camera with an f/2.2 aperture.
Samsung explained that the 3x and 5x magnification are pure optical zoom, while the 2x and 10x are zoom with optical quality.
In terms of performance, the Galaxy S26 Ultra is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy. The device runs the Android 16 operating system with the One UI 8.5 interface.
For the Indonesian market, it is available with RAM and storage options ranging from 12GB/256GB, 12GB/512GB to the highest variant of 16GB/1TB.
The battery capacity is 5,000 mAh, with support for fast charging via a cable that is compatible with QC2.0, as well as Super-Fast Wireless Charging.
In addition, there is a Wireless PowerShare feature that remains available to charge other devices wirelessly. It is claimed that the phone’s battery can be charged up to 75% in about 30 minutes.
