Full List of New National Nutrition Agency Leaders Appointed by Prabowo Following Removal of Dadan
President Prabowo Subianto has implemented a leadership change for the positions of Head and Deputy Head of the National Nutrition Agency (BGN). The Minister of State Secretary, Prasetyo Hadi, stated that the changes were made by the President based on the results of monitoring and performance evaluations conducted 1.5 years after the BGN’s formation. “The President continues to listen to and receive input from various parties, including relevant ministries and the public,” he said during a press conference on Tuesday (2/6).
Through this leadership change, Prabowo has removed three BGN officials: Dadan Hindayana from the position of Head of BGN, and Lodewyk Pusung and Sony Sanjaya from the position of Deputy Head of BGN. Subsequently, Prabowo has appointed three individuals to fill the vacant leadership positions. The new BGN leadership is as follows:
Nanik S. Deyang as Head of BGN.
Agustina Arumsari as Deputy Head of BGN.
Major General TNI Trenggono as Deputy Head of BGN.
Prasetyo explained that several reasons formed the basis for the removals, ranging from readiness in implementing Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and governance to the quality of food for the Free Nutritious Meal (MBG) programme. “Some issues pertain to discipline in implementing SOPs, some relate to discipline in governance, and others involve discipline in maintaining food quality,” he concluded.
