Full Cabinet Meeting This Afternoon: Prabowo to Discuss Government Readiness for Eid 2026
President Prabowo Subianto is scheduled to lead a Full Cabinet Meeting (SKP) at the Presidential Palace in Jakarta on Friday (13 March) in the afternoon. The main agenda of the meeting is to discuss government readiness ahead of the Eid 2026 celebrations.
The cabinet session will be attended by members of the Red and White Cabinet, including ministers, deputy ministers, and heads of institutions or state agencies within government.
Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya stated that the meeting would focus on government steps to ensure various preparations for Eid al-Fitr proceed optimally.
“There will be a cabinet meeting regarding Eid readiness at 16:00 WIB today,” said Teddy in a written statement to media in Jakarta on Friday (13 March).
Before the cabinet meeting begins, the President’s schedule for that day will commence with the fulfilment of personal zakat obligations. The zakat payment will be made through the National Zakat Agency (Baznas) and will also be attended by members of the Red and White Cabinet.
According to Teddy, the agenda is scheduled to take place at the State Palace at approximately 15:00 WIB, before proceeding to the cabinet meeting.
“Beginning with the zakat mal and zakat fitrah payment ceremony from cabinet members to the National Zakat Agency at the State Palace, that is around 15:00 WIB,” said Teddy.
This Full Cabinet Meeting is part of government coordination to ensure various aspects of public services, logistics, and community needs can be adequately met ahead of the mass exodus and Eid 2026 celebrations.
The President noted public responses from those affected by disasters in Sumatra, who expressed appreciation for government handling efforts.
Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya stated that the eighth Full Cabinet Meeting was held as an opportunity to evaluate the government’s performance achievements in the first 10 months of the Red and White Cabinet.
President Prabowo Subianto highlighted Indonesia’s economic growth achievement of 5.12 per cent as among the highest in the G20 and ASEAN regions.
