Fuel Transport Aircraft Crashes in Nunukan
TNI soldiers and local residents attempted to extinguish a fire engulfing an aircraft belonging to PT Pelita Air Service in the mountainous area of Pabetung Remayo, East Krayan District, Nunukan Regency, North Kalimantan, on Thursday (19/2/2026).
The Air Tractor AT802 aircraft, with registration number PK-PAA, owned by PT Pelita Air Service, was transporting fuel for the operational needs of PT Pertamina (Persero) on the Tarakan–Long Bawan–Tarakan route when it crashed in the mountainous Pabetung Remayo area of East Krayan District, Nunukan Regency.
