EAST FLORES, KOMPAS.com — A fuel shortage has occurred in several areas of East Flores, Nusa Tenggara Timur. The situation has lasted for the past two weeks. The distribution of subsidised fuel has been disrupted at the sub-distributor level. The problem arose due to the regional barcode on Pertamina’s microsite application being blocked. The direct impact is evident in retail prices. Fuel prices have risen to Rp 30,000 per bottle. “We express our thanks for the attention and input from consumers regarding the issues at the sub-distributor institutions, and we apologise for the inconvenience experienced,” said Ahad on Wednesday (18/3/2026). Pertamina is currently making system adjustments. The change is being made from the Microsite application to the X-Star application. This step aims to improve the quality of distribution services. The adjustment process is still ongoing. Pertamina is coordinating with BPH Migas to accelerate the resolution. “We are committed to ensuring that the public can continue to enjoy optimal fuel distribution services to support daily activities,” said Ahad. When the system encounters problems, field distribution is also affected. This condition has triggered a surge in prices at the consumer level.
