Fuel prices rise on 1 September 2026, Pertamax Turbo reaches Rp19,600
Fuel prices on 1 September 2026 saw changes across a number of products. Pertamina raised several non-subsidised fuels, while subsidised fuel prices remained unchanged. Prices at private fuel stations also need to be considered as they may differ based on product type and the policies of each business entity.
PT Pertamina Patra Niaga implemented price adjustments starting 1 September 2026. The products that increased were Pertamax Turbo, Dexlite and Pertamina Dex. Meanwhile, Pertamax and Pertamax Green 95 saw no change.
For the regions of DKI Jakarta, Banten, West Java, Central Java, DI Yogyakarta, East Java and Bali, the Pertamina prices effective from 1 September 2026 are:
Pertalite: Rp10,000 per litre
Biosolar: Rp6,800 per litre
Pertamax: Rp15,950 per litre
Pertamax Green 95: Rp16,600 per litre
Pertamax Turbo: Rp19,600 per litre
Dexlite: Rp23,700 per litre
Pertamina Dex: Rp25,200 per litre
From that list, Pertamax Turbo rose from Rp18,300 to Rp19,600 per litre. Dexlite rose from Rp19,700 to Rp23,700 per litre, while Pertamina Dex rose from Rp21,150 to Rp25,200 per litre.
Pertamina explained that the adjustment of non-subsidised fuel prices is carried out based on a government formula that takes into account a number of factors, including global crude oil prices, the rupiah exchange rate and taxes.
Shell Indonesia listed fuel prices effective on 1 September 2026. Based on the company’s official website, the product listed is:
- Shell V-Power Diesel: Rp25,420 per litre
Shell also provides information on fuel availability at each petrol station through its official website.
For Vivo petrol stations, the prices recorded ahead of September 2026 are:
Revvo 92: Rp16,130 per litre
Revvo 95: Rp16,760 per litre
Diesel Primus: Rp21,910 per litre
These prices were applicable in the previous period and serve as a reference ahead of the early September adjustment. Consumers still need to pay attention to the price boards at petrol stations as prices may change.
Meanwhile, the BP-AKR fuel prices recorded ahead of September are:
BP 92: Rp16,130 per litre
BP Ultimate: Rp16,760 per litre
BP Ultimate Diesel: Rp21,910 per litre
In the August period, BP-AKR lowered the prices of BP 92 and BP Ultimate petrol, while the price of BP Ultimate Diesel increased.
Subsidised fuel prices remain stable. People who use subsidised fuel are not affected by the increase on 1 September 2026. The price of Pertalite remains Rp10,000 per litre and Biosolar remains Rp6,800 per litre.
Thus, not all fuel prices on 1 September 2026 have risen. Pertamina raised the prices of Pertamax Turbo, Dexlite and Pertamina Dex, while Pertalite, Biosolar, Pertamax and Pertamax Green 95 remained unchanged.
It should be noted that Pertamina fuel prices may differ between regions. Meanwhile, prices at private fuel stations may also change in line with business entity policies and market conditions.
