Fuel prices across all Indonesian petrol stations rise officially, effective 2 March 2026
All fuel supply operators across Indonesia have coordinated a price increase for their fuel products at petrol stations effective 1 March 2026. The operators implementing the increase include Pertamina (State Owned Enterprise), Shell Indonesia, BP-AKR, and Vivo Energy Indonesia.
At Pertamina petrol stations, for example, RON 92 fuel (Pertamax) rose to Rp 12,300 per litre from Rp 11,800 per litre in February. Pertamax Green (RON 95) increased to Rp 12,900 per litre from Rp 12,450 per litre.
Pertamax Turbo rose to Rp 13,100 per litre from Rp 12,700 per litre. Dexlite increased to Rp 14,200 per litre from Rp 13,250 per litre. Pertamina Dex rose to Rp 14,500 per litre from Rp 13,500 per litre.
“PT Pertamina (Persero) is adjusting its fuel prices in order to implement the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources Ministerial Decision No. 245.K/MG.01/MEM.M/2022 as an amendment to Ministerial Decision No. 62 K/12/MEM/2020 regarding the base price formula in calculating the retail selling price of general fuel types—petrol and diesel—distributed through public fuel stations,” stated Pertamina in its official announcement on Monday, 2 March 2026.
Meanwhile, Pertamina’s subsidised fuel, including RON 90 (Pertalite), saw no increase and remained at Rp 10,000 per litre. Similarly, subsidised diesel remained unchanged at Rp 6,800 per litre.
Not only Pertamina but also Shell, BP-AKR, and Vivo fuel stations experienced significant increases in non-subsidised fuel prices.
