Fuel Efficiency: Bogor Regency Civil Servants Use Public Transport
In an effort to support the efficiency of fuel oil (BBM) usage, Civil Servants (ASN) in the Bogor Regency Government environment have begun implementing a more environmentally friendly mobility pattern, starting on Wednesday (1 April 2026). This policy is outlined in Circular Letter Number 000.8.3/578-ORG dated 27 March 2026, in response to the escalation of the global crisis and the rise in energy prices. Under the Circular Letter, ASN are required to work in the office or Work From Office (WFO) every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. ASN are also encouraged to use official vehicles together (carpooling). “This movement is a concrete step by ASN in supporting energy efficiency policies, while also providing a positive example in the use of more environmentally friendly transportation,” he said, quoted from the official statement, Friday (3 April 2026). This policy is expected to be able to suppress BBM consumption, while encouraging behavioural changes among ASN towards a more energy-saving and sustainable lifestyle.
