PT Pertamina Patra Niaga has ensured that the distribution of Fuel (BBM) at several petrol stations (SPBU) in Makassar City and surrounding areas, including Gowa, Takalar, and Maros Regencies, is currently monitored as being conducive. Fuel refilling activities at petrol stations are proceeding more orderly, and vehicle queues are no longer disrupting traffic flow around the stations.

This condition is the result of ongoing synergy between Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional Sulawesi, local governments, and local law enforcement agencies (APH). Field coordination is being conducted to monitor distribution conditions while ensuring that fuel services to the public can proceed effectively.

On the other hand, Pertamina continues to maintain the sustainability of fuel distribution by routinely distributing supplies to distribution agencies. This step is taken to ensure that the needs of the community can continue to be met and that fuel distribution proceeds in accordance with the specific needs of each region.

The Acting Area Manager of Communication, Relations & CSR for Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional Sulawesi, Okky Aditya Wibowo, stated that the condition of petrol stations in Makassar and surrounding areas has shown more stable developments. According to him, this situation is inseparable from coordination with various parties on the ground.

“The fuel distribution conditions in Makassar, Gowa, Takalar, and Maros are currently more conducive. This is certainly the result of collaborative work between Pertamina, the local government, and law enforcement agencies who continue to coordinate and monitor the field,” said Okky, as quoted from his statement on Wednesday, 16 September 2026.

Okky added that Pertamina is not only monitoring petrol stations but is also ensuring that fuel distribution to distribution agencies continues sustainably. Distribution is carried out by considering the needs and conditions on the ground.

“From Pertamina’s side, we continue to strive to ensure that fuel distribution runs sustainably. Distribution to distribution agencies continues, and field conditions are constantly monitored. We also continue to coordinate with local governments and law enforcement agencies should any dynamics arise in the distribution process,” added Okky.

Pertamina appreciates the support from local governments and law enforcement agencies in working together to maintain order around petrol stations. This synergy is expected to continue so that public service can improve and fuel refilling activities can take place in an orderly manner.
