From SKKL to Wi-Fi 7: INET's Business Expansion Strategy
JAKARTA, investor.id – PT Sinergi Inti Andalan Prima Tbk (INET) is optimistic that the national digital infrastructure industry will continue to grow strongly until 2026. A surge in data traffic, accelerated digital transformation, and adoption of new technologies such as Wi-Fi 7, 5G, cloud computing, and artificial intelligence (AI) are seen as key drivers for the company’s business expansion.
INET Managing Director Muhammad Arif stated that the company is using 2025 to strengthen operational foundations and governance following its initial public offering (IPO). This step is crucial for INET to accelerate its business expansion more measuredly this year.
For 2026, Arif said INET’s strategic focus is to enhance international connectivity through the development of the Jakarta-Batam-Singapore Submarine Cable Communication System (SKKL). Through its subsidiary PT Pusat Fiber Indonesia (PFI), the company is collaborating with PT Jejaring Mitra Persada (JMP) to develop the undersea cable route.
Under an Indefeasible Right of Use (IRU) agreement, PFI has secured usage rights for the Rising-8 undersea cable infrastructure segment from Tanjung Pinggir, Batam to Tanah Merah, Singapore.
Domestically, INET is also aggressively expanding its fixed broadband network, particularly in second- and third-tier cities and suburban areas with limited quality internet services.
