“After holding a meeting that lasted five hours with President Putin at the Kremlin Palace, the President directly departed for France with a travel time of around 3.5 hours and arrived in the middle of the night in Paris,” said Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya in his statement on Tuesday (14/4/2026).

Upon arrival in Paris, Prabowo is scheduled to continue his strategic diplomatic agenda through a one-on-one meeting with French President Emmanuel Macron, which will take place at the Élysée Palace. The two will discuss strengthening bilateral cooperation.

“Tomorrow, the President will hold a one-on-one meeting with President Macron at the Élysée Palace to discuss enhancing strategic cooperation between the two countries,” Teddy revealed.

Furthermore, Teddy emphasised that the meeting will not only focus on strengthening bilateral cooperation. Prabowo will also convey strategic views regarding global dynamics.

“In that meeting, besides strengthening cooperation with the French Government, the President will also convey Indonesia’s position in maintaining stability and promoting world peace,” said Teddy.
