From Pekanbaru to Bandung to Demand Rp35 Million Debt from Ex-Boyfriend, Jesica Was Beaten

Jesica Sintya, a victim of violence allegedly inflicted by her ex-boyfriend NT in the Cibangkong area, Batununggal District, Bandung City, on Friday 14 February 2026, has reported to the police regarding an alleged assault she suffered. She says she went to her ex-boyfriend’s residence to demand repayment of a debt. ‘I want to make clear that I have taken legal steps against the perpetrator, and the process is now proceeding in accordance with the provisions. I also emphasise that our relationship has ended completely and there is no longer any,’ she said, quoted from her social media on Thursday 26 February 2026. Jesica hopes to obtain justice and for the truth to emerge and be upheld as fairly as possible. She stated that on 14 February 2026 she departed from Pekanbaru to Bandung to meet the perpetrator. Jesica decided to approach the perpetrator because he had disappeared without trace and blocked all of her social media accounts. ‘This problem originated from an outstanding debt, and I simply want to hold him accountable and settle everything amicably,’ she said. However, when she met the perpetrator, he said he would not be received well to resolve the issue, and she was turned away and subjected to physical violence. She said she had endured violence for about three years.
