From Onshore to Offshore, All PHE OSES Operations Mark Indonesia's 81st Independence Day

PT Pertamina Hulu Energi Offshore OSES (PHE OSES) held flag ceremonies across various operational areas and company work facilities, from onshore to offshore, to commemorate Indonesia’s 81st Independence Day.

The ceremonies were conducted by PHE OSES officers at the Kalijapat Shorebase, Pabelokan Gas Plant & Power Island, Accommodation Work Barge (AWB) Tanjung Lesung, PTK Harmoni, and the Emerald Rig.

General Manager of PHE OSES, Antonius Dwi Arinto, said that holding ceremonies at various work locations, including offshore facilities, created a meaningful atmosphere for the independence commemoration.

Amidst round-the-clock operational activities, PHE OSES officers solemnly followed the ceremony proceedings with reverence and national spirit.

“The raising of the Red and White flag at various operational facilities serves as a symbol that the spirit of independence is always present wherever Indonesians carry out their duties, including in the waters of the archipelago,” said Antonius in his statement on Tuesday, 18 August 2026.

He said the independence day commemoration was a momentum to strengthen the spirit of unity, while affirming the contribution of every company employee to the nation and state.

“The 81st Independence Day commemoration strengthens the spirit of unity and reinforces the contribution of every PHE OSES officer to the nation. Wherever we are assigned, including in offshore areas, let us continue to carry out our mandate by prioritising safety, professionalism, and operational reliability,” said Antonius.

The ceremony attended by PHE OSES officers proceeded in an orderly and solemn manner. The moment of raising the Red and White flag served as a reminder for all officers to continue upholding the values of unity, professionalism, and responsibility in carrying out the company’s mandate, while ensuring that oil and gas operations run safely and reliably.

Through the ceremony commemorating the moments of the Proclamation, PHE OSES affirmed its commitment to continue providing the best contribution to the nation.

From onshore to offshore, the spirit of independence serves as energy for all officers to work professionally and sustainably in maintaining operational reliability, supporting national energy security, and realising the ideals of a Sovereign, Just, and Prosperous Indonesia.
