From Nanik S Deyang to Trenggono: Officials Arrive at Palace Ahead of Prabowo's Inauguration

President Prabowo Subianto is set to inaugurate the new leadership of the National Nutrition Agency (BGN) today, Monday, 8 June 2026. The inauguration ceremony is being held at the Presidential Palace Complex in Central Jakarta.

According to observations at the location, Nanik S Deyang, who has been appointed as the Head of the BGN, has arrived at the Presidential Palace Complex. She was seen wearing a light blue kebaya and a black headscarf.

Nanik’s arrival was followed by Agustina Arumsari and Major General TNI Trenggono, who have been appointed as Deputy Heads of the BGN, both of whom have also arrived at the Palace.

“It is the BGN (officials being inaugurated). The Presidential Decree was actually issued on 2 June when it was announced by the Minister of State Secretary. So, this is the inauguration ceremony,” Agustina told reporters on Monday, 8 June 2026.

It was previously reported that President Prabowo Subianto officially removed Dadan Hindayana from his position as Head of the National Nutrition Agency. This news was announced directly by the Minister of State Secretary, Prasetyo Hadi, at the Presidential Palace Complex in Jakarta on Tuesday, 2 June 2026.

The announcement drew significant public attention as Dadan was known for leading the preparations for the Free Nutritious Meal (MBG) programme, one of the flagship initiatives of the Prabowo-Gibran administration.

“Today, Tuesday, 2 June 2026, the President has made the decision to change the leadership of the National Nutrition Agency,” said Prasetyo Hadi.

In his statement, Prasetyo also announced changes to other positions within the BGN.

“First is Mr Dadan Hindayana as Head of the National Nutrition Agency; second is Mr Lodewijk Paulus as Deputy Head of the National Nutrition Agency; and third is Mr Sony Sanjaya as Deputy Head of the National Nutrition Agency,” he stated.

Despite the leadership changes, the government expressed its appreciation for the performance of the officials who have built the foundation of the institution.

“This is accompanied by expressions of gratitude for their hard work and dedication in building the foundation and developing the National Nutrition Agency,” Prasetyo continued.
