From BEV to REEV, Jetour Prepares 19 New Models by 2028
BEIJING – Chinese automaker Jetour has begun to reveal its ambitious roadmap for the global development of electric vehicles and new energy vehicles (NEV). In the coming years, it plans to introduce nearly all lines of electrification technology, reaching a peak phase by 2028. Jetour International President Ke Chuandeng stated that the surge in demand for new energy vehicles represents a major momentum that the company has anticipated for several years. As part of this strategy, Jetour has designed a total of 19 new energy vehicle models. Of these, five models have already been introduced to the global market, including the Dashing, T1, T2, and G700, which encompass various technologies such as plug-in hybrid (PHEV). Entering 2026, Jetour will enter a “momentum” phase, where market expansion and product launches will become increasingly aggressive. “We are prepared to make significant investments and layouts in the new energy vehicle segment,” said Ke. According to him, the driving experience of electric vehicles will be one of the main factors changing global consumer preferences. He explained that the advantages of electric vehicles lie not only in efficiency but also in instant acceleration, lower noise levels, and improved driving comfort. Entering 2027, Jetour targets an acceleration phase. In this phase, its entire new energy product lineup will be launched globally and will continue to see improvements in technology and performance. In this phase, the company will rely on a combination of intelligent technologies, deeper localisation strategies in various countries, and production cost efficiencies to enhance competitiveness. “The next two years, especially 2027 and 2028, will be very important for Jetour’s global layout,” he said.
