Frog leads man to death

BANTUL, Yogyakarta: A man slipped and fell to his death after
a frog jumped on him in a bathroom in a residence in Argorejo
subdistrict here on Tuesday evening, Antara reported.

Witnesses said M. Damawi, 51, a construction worker from the
East Java town of Blitar, tumbled to the floor in surprise after
the frog leapt on his leg. It was late at night when the incident
took place.

The witnesses, Sumardi and Suparman, both Argorejo residents,
said they heard Damawi scream before he fell.

There were no reports on the type of injury the victim
sustained in the fall.

Local police declared Damawi's death an accident. -- Antara
