Friends Remember Doctor Icha as a Diligent and Friendly Figure

A doctor named dr. Eliza Princila Utami Pakaenoni, also known as Icha (27), was found dead by hanging, allegedly due to depression following intimidation by two members of the East Timor Tenggara Utara (TTU) Regional House of Representatives (DPRD). Her friends remember Dr Icha as a diligent and friendly person to everyone.

As reported by detikBali on Monday (29/06/2026), these memories were shared by her friend, dr Pito Jella. Pito stated that he had been friends with the deceased for 10 years, since they both studied at the Faculty of Medicine, Nusa Cendana University (Undana), Kupang, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT), in 2016.

“It has been 10 years; we have been college friends since 2016, then completed our internships together, and are now serving together in TTU,” dr Pito wrote in a WhatsApp message.

According to Pito, Dr Icha was known as a disciplined, cheerful, and sociable individual. The deceased was also noted for always arriving on time to perform her duties.

“Dr Icha was a cheerful person; she was the most diligent, so she always arrived on time. She was also friendly to everyone,” he said.

Outside of work, Dr Icha was described as someone who enjoyed gathering and participating in various activities with her friends.
