Friderica Widyasari Officially Becomes Chair; Meet the Profiles of Five New OJK Board of Commissioners Members
Jakarta – Commission XI of the House of Representatives has completed the fit and proper test for candidates to the OJK Board of Commissioners, with 10 nominees examined and five ultimately selected for the 2026-2031 period.
“Today Commission XI has decided the results of the fit and proper test for candidates to the OJK Board of Commissioners for the 2026-2031 period for five positions, with 10 candidates undergoing the test and five positions being filled,” said Mukhamad Misbakhun, Chair of Commission XI, at the House of Representatives building in Jakarta on Wednesday, 11 March 2026.
The selected candidates will be forwarded to the House leadership for discussion in plenary session on Thursday (12 March). The profiles of the five Board of Commissioners members approved in today’s fit and proper test are as follows:
Friderica Widyasari Dewi (Chair of the Board of Commissioners)
Before joining the OJK, Friderica, commonly known as Kiki, spent considerable time working in the capital markets sector. Born on 28 November 1975, she previously served as Director of Development at PT Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) from 2009 to 2015.
After her tenure at BEI ended in 2015, she moved to become Director of Finance at PT Kustodian Sentral Efek Indonesia (KSEI) until 2016. Still at KSEI, Friderica then became Chief Executive Officer from 2016 to 2019. She also held a position at a financial services state-owned enterprise, PT BRI Danareksa Sekuritas, as Chief Executive Officer from 2020 to 2022.
The woman who earned a doctoral degree in Leadership and Policy Innovation from Gadjah Mada University (UGM) in 2019 joined the OJK Board of Commissioners after passing the fit and proper test for the 2022-2027 period.
As Chief Executive of Conduct Supervision, Education and Consumer Protection at the OJK, Kiki also served as Coordinator of the Steering Committee of the Task Force for Eradication of Illegal Financial Activities (SATGAS PASTI) and the Indonesia Anti-Scam Centre (IASC) from 2023 onwards.
Recently, Kiki was appointed as Acting Chair of the OJK Board of Commissioners to fill the position vacated by Mahendra Siregar on 30 January, in addition to her role as Chief Executive of Conduct Supervision at the OJK. With her appointment as Chair of the Board of Commissioners following her successful fit and proper test on Wednesday (11 March), she will no longer hold the position of Chief Executive of Conduct Supervision.
