Friderica Widyasari Dewi Inaugurated as Chair of the OJK
Friderica Widyasari Dewi was inaugurated as Chair of the Board of Commissioners of the Financial Services Authority (OJK) on Wednesday, 25 March 2026. In addition to Friderica, six other Members of the Board of Commissioners (ADK) were also inaugurated.
The six OJK ADKs are Hernawan Bekti Sasongko as Deputy Chair of the OJK Board of Commissioners; Hasan Fawzi as Executive Head of Supervision for the Capital Market, Derivatives Finance, and Carbon Exchange OJK; Adi Budiarso as Executive Head of Supervision for Financial Sector Technology Innovation, Digital Financial Assets, and Crypto Assets OJK.
Then Dicky Kartikoyono as Executive Head of Supervision for Business Conduct in Financial Services, Education, and Consumer Protection OJK; Thomas Djiwandono as ex-officio Member of the OJK Board of Commissioners from Bank Indonesia; and Juda Agung as ex-officio Member of the OJK Board of Commissioners from the Ministry of Finance.
The OJK ADKs were appointed based on Presidential Decree Number 30/P of 2026 dated 17 March 2026. They took their oaths of office in the presence of Supreme Court Chief Justice Sunarto. “Are you willing to take your oath of office according to your respective religions?” said Sunarto at the Supreme Court building on Wednesday, 25 March 2026.
The seven officials then recited their oaths of office. “I swear that I will carry out my duties and obligations as a Member of the Board of Commissioners of the Financial Services Authority to the best of my ability and with full responsibility in accordance with the applicable laws and regulations related to those duties and obligations,” said the OJK ADKs.
Five of the seven OJK ADKs inaugurated today were selected after undergoing fit and proper tests at the House of Representatives Commission XI on Wednesday, 11 March 2026. The DPR then approved the selection of the five officials in a plenary session held the following day. The selection of the new Board of Commissioners members was conducted following the resignation of four OJK officials at the end of January, after the Morgan Stanley Capital International (MSCI) reclassification.
