Friderica Widyasari Dewi has been officially elected as Chair of the Board of Commissioners of the Financial Services Authority (OJK), the Indonesian financial regulator. The decision was made by Commission XI of the House of Representatives following a fit and proper test of all candidates.

“Commission XI of the House of Representatives, after conducting a fit and proper test of ten candidates for the OJK Board of Commissioners and holding an internal meeting, has decided to appoint Friderica Widyasari Dewi as Chair of the OJK Board of Commissioners and Hernawan Bekti Sasongko as Vice Chair,” said Mukhamad Misbakhun, Chair of Commission XI, on Wednesday 11 March 2026.

The remaining senior positions have been allocated as follows: Hasan Fawzi has been appointed Head of Executive for Capital Market, Derivative Finance, and Carbon Exchange Supervision; Dicky Kartikoyono has been appointed Head of Executive for Oversight of Financial Services Business Conduct, Consumer Education, and Protection; and Adi Budiarso has been appointed Head of Executive for Financial Technology Innovation Oversight, Digital Financial Assets, and Cryptocurrency Regulation.

The fit and proper test process assessed ten candidates: Friderica Widyasari Dewi, Agus Sugiarto, Hernawan Bekti Sasongko, Ary Zulfikar, Hasan Fawzi, Darmansyah, Dicky Kartikoyono, Danu Febrianto, Adi Budiarso, and Anton Daryono. The assessment was conducted to fill five positions within the OJK leadership structure.
