Friday Night! Don't Miss the Peak of the Digital Connectivity Appreciation 2026
The Apresiasi Konektivitas Digital 2026 event, initiated by detikcom and BAKTI Komdigi, is about to reach its peak. The gala event, scheduled for Friday, 17 April 2026, at 19:00 WIB, serves as a platform to appreciate individuals, communities, and institutions that have made tangible contributions to expanding technology access in 3T regions.
This programme stems from the awareness that equitable digital connectivity is not solely the government’s responsibility. There are many unsung ‘connectors of the nation’ who operate without spotlight, from digital literacy volunteers in villages to communities driving the creative economy, with real impacts.
The selection process is not arbitrary. Nominations were open from 15 November 2025 to 28 February 2026, inviting the public to nominate deserving names. From hundreds of submissions, 13 nominations from various sectors were selected for the judging stage.
The judging involved 10 panellists from government, industry, associations, and media. The process not only evaluated documents but also verified them directly in the field.
Managing Editor and Head of Media Researcher at detikcom, Irwan Nugroho, emphasised that the team deployed contributors and journalists to the areas to ensure the data provided by participants truly matched the facts.
The 13 categories cover diverse roles in the digital ecosystem. From the local government side, there are Province Driving Digital Economy, Province Supporting Digital Connectivity Acceleration, Regency Pioneering Digital MSMEs, and Leading Digital Village.
From the public services sector, categories include Innovative Village-Owned Enterprises in Digital Business, Innovative Health Centre in Health Service Digitalisation, Exemplary Digital School, and Defence Post Supporting Digital Connectivity.
Meanwhile, three other categories target individuals: Digital Literacy Activist in the Village, Internet Fighter Entering the Village, and Creative Local Content Creator. There are also two community categories: Community Supporting Digital Creative Economy and Community Driving Internet for the People.
Irwan hopes this event can be more than just an award. According to him, the Apresiasi Konektivitas Digital is expected to become a real portrait of Indonesia’s digital connectivity conditions while encouraging policymakers to continue accelerating national digital development.
It is the stories from the nominees that will be the main highlight of the award night. Stories of dedication and innovation born from the grassroots, far from media spotlight, yet truly changing the lives of surrounding communities.
Don’t miss it! Watch the Apresiasi Konektivitas Digital 2026 award night on Friday, 17 April at 19:00 WIB at detik.com/apresiasikonektivitasdigital, and celebrate together with the nation’s connectors who have fought for a more connected Indonesia.
