Police disclosed that the robbery and stabbing of a male victim with the initials MHA (30) on Jalan Pati, Menteng, Central Jakarta, on Tuesday (16 June) was a scenario created by a female coworker with the initials USP (31) to carry out an attempted murder. “The articles applied are Article 466 concerning assault and Article 459 in conjunction with Article 17 paragraph 1, or attempted murder with planning,” said Central Jakarta Police Criminal Investigation Unit Head, Adjunct Senior Commissioner Roby Heri Saputra, during a press conference at the Central Jakarta Metro Police headquarters on Friday.

Police apprehended a man with the initials AF (30), a recidivist in a cable theft case, after he stole a motorcycle in the Tambora area of West Jakarta to sell in order to buy narcotics. “On 15 June 2026, the Tambora Police Criminal Investigation Unit successfully secured an individual with the initials AF, aged 30, in the Duri Selatan area, Tambora District, West Jakarta,” said Tambora Police Criminal Investigation Unit Head, Adjunct Police Commissioner Sudrajat Djumantara, when confirmed in Jakarta on Friday.
