French tourist found dead in Bali

DENPASAR: A French tourist was found dead in his hotel room in
Legian Kuta on late Thursday, Antara reported.

The news agency said on Friday that Gobion Franck, 31, was
found by hotel employees hanging with a plastic cord around his
neck from the ceiling of his hotel room.

Witnesses said the body was already decomposing when it was
found. Local police estimated that Franck died 48 to 72 hours
earlier.

Franck was said to have been staying at the hotel since last
Sunday. His body has been taken to Sanglah Hospital for a
postmortem examination. (byg)
