French National Deported from Bali for Making and Selling Pornographic Content
A French national, identified as LR (30), has been deported from Bali after allegedly creating and promoting pornographic content through a digital platform. LR was repatriated to France by the Denpasar Class I TPI Immigration Office on Thursday (27/8/2026).
LR was subject to Immigration Administrative Action and was sent home via I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport in Bali. He was recorded as holding a Visit Stay Permit and entered Indonesia on 20 July 2026 using a visit visa or Visa on Arrival (VoA) through the Autogate at I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport.
The case came to light after Denpasar Immigration received a public report regarding LR’s activities. Officers from the Immigration Intelligence and Enforcement Section then examined the travel documents and activities of the foreign national during his stay in Bali.
The examination results indicated that LR allegedly created and promoted content containing pornographic elements through the OF platform. He was also suspected of distributing links to the content for sale.
“The enforcement action against LR was carried out after a process of immigration examination and handling based on the information received. We ensured that every stage was conducted according to procedure, until the individual was repatriated to his home country,” said Haryo.
According to Sakti, supervision of foreign nationals in Bali does not only concern documents and residence permits, but also their activities while in Indonesian territory.
Meanwhile, the Head of the Bali Regional Office of the Directorate General of Immigration, Ramdhani, stressed that any suspected violation of immigration provisions would be dealt with according to the rules.
He said the enforcement action was part of immigration supervision and law enforcement to maintain order and security in the Bali region.
Denpasar Immigration also urged the public to report activities of foreign nationals suspected of violating immigration provisions.
