French Lubricant Brand Ipone Engages Motorcycle Community in Lampung
Jakarta (ANTARA) – French lubricant brand Ipone has held a Moride community event to unite two-wheeler enthusiast groups across Lampung whilst introducing its latest products to the region.
“This activity serves as an opportunity to strengthen relations between Ipone and users, as well as motorcycle communities in the area, whilst introducing the quality of Ipone lubricant products directly,” said Welmart Purba, Managing Director of PT Motul Indonesia Energy (MIE), in an official statement on Thursday.
The event, designed as a fellowship gathering for two-wheeler enthusiasts in Lampung, included various positive activities aimed at strengthening bonds amongst vehicle riders.
The Lampung Moride commenced with a group ride from a gathering point at SC Motor to L’essence Cafe as the main destination. Five selected riders received the opportunity to test Ipone engine oil free of charge, with oil changes performed at the starting point before the ride. Upon completion of the journey, the riders shared their experiences regarding motorcycle performance after using Ipone lubricants.
“Ipone hopes that activities such as this can continue to serve as a platform for fellowship, experience sharing, and education for communities and two-wheeler vehicle users everywhere,” Purba stated.
The brand also presented its newest lubricant, Katana Scoot 5W-40, which was launched at the Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS) 2026. This product is Indonesia’s first scooter lubricant utilising Ester technology and synthetic materials. The innovation is designed to maintain smooth engine performance, responsiveness, and optimal protection of internal vehicle components during daily use.
Other variants include Katana 15W-50, which caters to sport motorcycle enthusiasts requiring maximum protection at high engine RPM. The R4000 15W-50 series serves as an ideal choice for riders undertaking long-distance journeys or multi-city touring activities.
Additionally, two-stroke motorcycle users are catered for through the R2000 product, which offers clean combustion and a distinctive strawberry aroma.
