French Investor Confident in Developing Green Hydrogen in Indonesia, Sees Vast Potential
The Executive Director Asia Pacific of HDF Energy, Mathieu Geze, stated that regulation and legal certainty remain among the challenges for investors in developing New and Renewable Energy (EBT) in Indonesia. Despite this, HDF Energy, a French hydrogen and fuel cell technology company, is very optimistic about the prospects for the renewable energy business in Indonesia, and is therefore continuing to promote investment in the hydrogen sector in the country. In Indonesia, HDF Energy has entered into an agreement with PT PLN (Persero) to develop the utilisation of green hydrogen. In the current energy transition, green hydrogen plays an important role in a number of sectors, such as the fertiliser industry and Pertamina’s refineries.
