Freeman Foundation offers scholarships
The Indonesian-American Institute (LIA) announced yesterday that Freeman Foundation of the United States is offering scholarships two senior high school graduates from Indonesia who want to work toward Bachelor of Arts degrees.
The foundation was established by Mansfield Freeman, who founded the American International Group Incorporated insurance company.
"The foundation will finance the study of the recipients for four years at the Wesleyan University, Middletown, Connecticut," Wening Suhastoyo, a spokesperson for LIA, said.
The applicants should send their applications to Lembaga Bahasa LIA at Jl. Pramuka, Kav. 30, East Jakarta. (has)
