Jakarta — Residents of Cisauk, Tangerang can now travel home for Eid al-Fitr 1447 Hijriah with greater peace of mind.

Cisauk Police Chief AKP Dhady Arsya stated that the service is provided to assist residents who are leaving their homes during the mudik (mass exodus) period.

“That’s correct. We are accepting vehicle storage for residents who will be travelling home, whether motorcycles or cars. The parking area is sufficiently large for several vehicles,” Dhady told Kompas.com on Tuesday, 17 March 2026.

Dhady emphasised that the service is provided free of charge, and residents simply need to bring their vehicles directly to Cisauk Police Station.

“There is no charge for vehicle storage, whether for cars or motorcycles. It is free,” said Dhady.

The storage requirements are straightforward. Residents only need to present original vehicle documents such as STNK (vehicle registration) or BPKB (vehicle ownership certificate) as proof of ownership.

Additionally, vehicle owners are also asked to submit a photocopy of their identity card and STNK or BPKB.

Police hope that this facility can reduce residents’ concerns about theft risk or security disruptions whilst their homes are left unoccupied during mudik.

For Cisauk residents who wish to use this service, they simply need to come directly to Cisauk Police Station with the required documentation.
